Giles
Packham - managing director
 Giles is classically trained and has studied piano, clarinet, guitar and double bass. He also 'plays by ear', which means he can hear something and play it straight away. From an early age he has mixed his music technology interest with composing. He started out by teaching himself and building up a home studio. He formalised this training studying Music & Media Technologies in Trinity
College Dublin, for which he received his M.Phil in 2000. He spent time at Number 4 Studios, Windmill Lane, where he was trained
in post production sound by engineer Paddy Gibbons. He founded Waveform with Karl Burke in 2002 and took over the company in late 2008. Giles has been involved in professional
audio for over 14 years.
His extensive
CV includes writing music for all media (see look & listen
for samples). He has written original scores for film, television, advertising
and theatre and has continued studying orchestration with Bob Drasnin, Conrad Pope and the late Don Ray under the Screen Training Ireland/ UCLA program. He continues to collaborate with many composers and musicians. His
particular specialties are music composition and sound design
to picture and mixing for television.
Jodie - non-human resources director
Jodie joined Waveform Studios in 2004 as part time non-human resources director. She plays stick and ball very well and is an expert in anaylising the high frequency spectrum. Her favorite synthesizer patch is called 'Howling Dog' . She can often be seen hanging around town. Her favorite park is Stephen's Green. Her second favorite park is Merrion Square.
Kitty - head of accounts
Kitty joined Waveform Studios in 2009 to look after the accounts in these challenging times. Her favorite synthesizer patch is called 'Travelling mice'. She works from home and is also studying the violin.
